The characteristics of railway composite sleeper

Railway Composite Sleeper is a new Synthetic Sleeper with hollow structure,which is produced by pultruding glass fiber reinforced materials(fiber band,fiber cloth,felt),unsaturated polyester resin and auxiliary materials(catalyst,curing agent,ultraviolet absorbent,filler,etc.)under high temperature.

The advantages of the sleeper is to make full use of the strength of fiber reinforced material and the elasticity of resin material,the structure layout and production process according to the sleeper stress characteristics were optimized,integrated the traditional concrete sleeper high strength and wood sleeper good elasticity characteristics.

The performance parameter test of railway Composite Sleeper mainly includes the performance parameter of body sampling and the overall strength parameter test.Because there is no relevant standard of synthetic sleeper and no corresponding strength standard of wooden sleeper at present,the test methods used in the research process ofsynthetic sleeper are based on the existing standard of concrete sleeper and corresponding fastener.
