The traditional screw compressor design method has seriously affected the delivery time and performance level of new products and weakened its market competitiveness.With the universal application of computers,the famous screw compressor companies in foreign countries have adopted the computer-aided design and calculation system of various screw compressors in product design and research.
After more than ten years of unremitting efforts,the Compressor Teaching and Research Section of Xi'an Jiaotong University has solved the rotor profile design,accurate calculation of geometric characteristics,tool edge calculation,thermal performance and dynamic characteristics prediction,suction and exhaust orifice configuration,and rotor force and Key technologies such as deformation calculation,developed a set of DOS version screw compressor design and calculation system SCCAD with independent copyright.Using this software,successfully cooperated with relevant units to develop various types of screw air compressors and new refrigerator products.There are also several screw compressor manufacturers at home and abroad who have purchased the software and achieved good economic and social benefits.
