The fishplate is a kind of accessory in the rail transit system.Its function is to undertake the connecting tool between the rails.The two rails are assembled together and play the role of connecting the preceding and the following.Ordinary fish tail plate is made of metal,insulating fish tail plate is made of insulating material,and has good performance. The fishplate,also known as the track joint splint or splint,is a fastener used for the connection between the track and the track.The main role is that the rail is fixed on the sleeper or the base plate of the elastic parts.In addition to the certain pressure,it must be able to withstand the vertical force,transverse force and longitudinal force from the rail.In order to avoid the excessive deformation caused by the three-direction force,resulting in the train sway,reduce the ride comfort and even affect the safety of driving,the commonly used type of fastening parts are shrapnel or elastic fastening parts,fishplate compared with the track pressure plate,has the characteristics of following the deformation of the rail,not easy to relax and excellent fatigue resistance. In order to ensure the overall safety of the railway turnout,it is composed of the safety of each component part,therefore,although the Fish Plate is small,the role of the railway turnout is not small.For the normal operation of railway turnout,the fish plate should be inspected and maintained.
